This wireless temperature station lets you know what's happening both inside and out. The station is shaped like a thermometer and divided into three areas of information. At the very top of the skinny screen, the manually set quartz clock displays the time in hours and minutes and in 12- or 24-hour mode. The middle of the display shows the percentage of indoor temperature in either Fahrenheit or Celsius degrees, while the bottom half of the display reports outdoor temperatures in Fahrenheit or Celsius using an included remote sensor. For more accurate outdoor readings, the base unit can receive information from up to three different sensors, which can each be placed up to 80 feet away. The weather station records the minimum and maximum indoor and outdoor temperatures within a 24-hour period and recalls them at your prompting. The wireless weather station requires two AAA batteries for the receiver and another two for the remote sensor. This unit is covered by a one-year warranty. --Cristina Vaamonde

1 out of 5 stars Don't buy it. Just don't.   January 30, 2008

This never worked from day one. We were very careful to keep the sensor and base within 6 feet of each other, separated only by a glass window. It never could read the sensor for more than an hour. And this was in mild fall weather. Go with Oregon Scientific products. My whole family (and now us, too) have had great success with them.
