The device offers an indoor temperature range of 14 to 140 degrees F, plus a remote range of -21.8 to 156.2 degrees F. When reading remote temperatures, the station uses its included indoor/outdoor temperature sensor, which operates at a range of up to 80 feet with no obstructions. Other features include an LCD clock that reads in 12- or 24-hour time format and compatibility with up to two additional sensors. it's ok--- seems to work fine, but it says keep it out of the rain--- and sometimes it's going to rain, so do I rush out and get it and bring it in? Seems to me if it's supposed to be outside, then it should handle all weather situations. But for now I am enjoying it.

I've only had it for 3 weeks but it seems to work quite well...the base is good looking and the sensor comes with both screw and adhesive mounting parts. So far, the system has been 100% reliable and has measured down to zero farenheit.
