Amazon.com Review Complete with wind measurements, this weather station allows users to assess outdoor temperatures and humidity levels to plan appropriately for weather conditions, while also monitoring indoor climate for household comfort. The sleek station mounts on a wall or stands alone on a tabletop. An easy-to-read display backlit with LED conveys indoor and outdoor temperatures, humidity levels, air pressure, time of day, date, wind speed and direction, wind chill and dew point, lunar phase, and daily minimum and maximum recording for temperature and wind speed. Simple graphic icons depict the indoor comfort level, while other graphics denote the outdoor forecast for the next 12 to 24 hours with 75 percent accuracy. A beaufort scale bar graph depicts wind speed. Users can view temperatures in Fahrenheit or Celsius increments, and can opt to display time of day in military time. The weather station also includes an alarm clock that sounds with increasing volume to rouse sleepers gradually. Radio-controlled by WWWB, the clock resets daily for continued accuracy. An outdoor temperature sensor and wind speed sensor also accompany the system. The two sensors can interlock to share both wireless communication to the base unit and common power source. The Weather Channel offers a satisfaction guarantee, reimbursing dissatisfied customers less shipping costs for thirty days after purchase. This item measures 9 by 4-3/4 by 1-1/4 inches, and weighs 3 pounds. --Jessica Reuling

The weather channel weather station June 30, 2008 Everything worked fine out of the box except for the wind monitor. After several emails to customer service, I returned the sensor and all is fine now. It has been easy to set up and read, and the service has been good. If I had it to do over again I would
Excellent price quality deal May 19, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We bought this product based on the reviews read, and we agree with the comments of previous buyers. Easy installation and set up. We are very satisfied and for less than $80 it is an excellent deal.
Love my weather station May 18, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This wireless weather station works really nicely. It gives lots of information: temperature indoors and out, moon phase, humidity both indoors and out, wind speed, time and date and whether a change in the weather is coming (pressure increasing or decreasing). I have had no problems with it to date and would buy it again. I really like it and look at it several times each day.

WS-9035TWC Wireless Weather Station with Wind Sensor March 22, 2008 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
This is a terrific, economical weather station. Of course, one could spend several hundred dollars more and get somewhat broader and more precise capabilities. But this unit does a terrific job for the cost. It's easy to set up and synchronize and seems to produce temperature and humidity results that are very accurate when compared to both another thermometer as well as a nearby "broadcasting" weather station.
If I have any complaints about this unit, they would be...1. I wish there was an easy way to shorten the phone cord that connects the outdoor wind sensor to the broadcasting temperature-humidity sensor. They must give you about 30 feet of cord, which is a pain to deal with in a "neat" installation...2. I wish the wind sensor broadcast in real-time rather than just once per minute. But, after all it is an inexpensive unit...and 3. The weather forecasting icons are of questionable accuracy. The unit would be just as good without that feature.
Overall, the unit is well worth the cost and easy to install, synchronize and get working.
