Works quite well December 27, 2008 I got this product to put in our travel trailer. It operates quietly, and seems to be doing the job. I have emptied the reservoir once since putting it to work. I may buy another one of these to put in a bathroom that collects moisture.
Wonderful product December 21, 2008 We went from using a large dehumidifer (meant for a large basement or den area to using two of these small ones in separate rooms. It is a wonderful product, does what it is intended to do with little-to-no noise. Keeps moisture level in our downstairs comfortable.
It tries but is small December 16, 2008 This unit does pull a little moisture out of the air, but won't dry a very large space. But is also works as a white noise machine if you just need a bit of moisture control. We bought a regular full-size dehumidifier for our RV and use it as an end table.
Perfect! December 12, 2008 Our bathroom doesn't have a ventilation fan so it is prone to mildew and mold growing on the walls and ceiling. I have to scrub with bleach every so often which is a pain since it takes my entire afternoon and I have arthritis. This little guy has so far kept the mold at bay. It took about a month to fill it most of the way (3 people taking showers, sometimes twice a day) before I emptied it so I haven't experienced the automatic shutoff. It is very quiet. If the heat or A/C is on, I can't even hear it. My computer runs louder than it. It is a blessing and I'm glad I bought it.
Good little unit. December 5, 2008 I bought this in December 2007 for my small (40 sq ft) office. All through the humid spring and summer in Houston it pulled water out of the air 24 hours a day. It doesn't have the biggest motor, but it was sufficient to keep the room comfortable and needed emptying every 4-5 days. In November 2008 -- 11 months into the 12-month warranty period, it went dead. A couple of phone calls later I had found Barbie, who had me send the unit back with proof of purchase. About a week later it reappeared with a handwritten note that the adapter was the problem. Too bad it broke but good customer service to fix the problem.
