My dad had been complaining about how is then wireless digital thermometer was being tempermental (no pun intended). The display screen is bigger and even includes time. He is very happy with his new thermometer.

1 out of 5 stars Good but maintenance cost too high   January 19, 2010

I purchased this item and it worked well. I got fed up with the maintenance cost and stopped using it. The button cell in the unit outside does not even last for one month. An average $3.50 for a piece it costs about $40 a year for the outside unit alone. You add up the cost of the AA cells for the inside unit it will be easily $50 a year which I think is too high.

5 out of 5 stars Good indoor unit   December 14, 2009
Edward (Richmond, VA)
I purchased this for my son bedroom. I get the temp displayed downstairs on the main unit and also able to see the temp on the unit itself if I am upstairs in his room. He can also see the temp himself.
