gift for grandson's wedding... August 5, 2010 Mickey Thorne Well, my younger grandson is a man of few words, and it took a while to get much from him. Finally, I asked a short list of simple questions. It seems that it arrived in good condition; it is good-looking; they like it; it is outside of the house (just thought I would check on that); they are pleased with the present; and it works.
My older grandson had already said that he thought it was really neat, so there we go. I will give it four stars, but it probably should have five. But, since he was so reserved, I have to deduct for a possible lack of enthusiasm.

outdoor clock July 22, 2010 Danny The clock is working fine. As with most outdoor clocks though, only time will tell. I have never had one to last more than 3 years. So the jury is still out.
Handsome Quality Clock... July 7, 2010 Ambergris (New England.....USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I have owned this very same La Crosse camo clock for a little over 2 years now. At the time I bought mine from another online site, I do not remember seeing this clock in the camo design here on Amazon. If I did I would have bought it here and saved money. This clock is as quality built as they come without really shooting for the moon price wise. I have owned a complete weather station by La Crosse for almost three years now and I have never been anything but completely satisfied with it. I decided to go with La Crosse again on this clock and it has turned out to be a good investment. This clock is heavily constructed, quality built and sealed, and the atomic clock feature keeps the clock time flawlessly accurate. (You will find yourself setting all your other clocks on your property by this one). The temp and humidity gauges seem very accurate and I have never seen them way off from my main station readings. The face on this clock is a thick quality plastic that has never seen its seal broken, and thus have any condensation appear. And as far as its battery life, I can't speak for anyone else, but mine last a complete year if its a good alkaline brand. As far as it being weather resistant, all I can say is it has been on an outside wall of my shed for over two years in summer and winter and it is no worse for the wear. It has never lost time nor been in any way affected by the weather that I have witnessed. When you put in a new or replacement battery, you can just set the clock to as close as you can as far as accuracy, and sometime during the night the clock will pick up the atomic signal and correct itself. You never have to set it or mess with it in any way again until the battery dies.
In conclusion, I have to say that I selected this particular clock for I think the camo exterior on the clock is really cool looking. It just seems to signify the outdoor ruggedness that for me personally, this clock has well delivered. But if you are not into the camo look, it does come in a couple of other colors. Whatever exterior you choose, in an outdoor clock I don't think they come any better for the price, and I highly recommend it...

Advertised as an outdoor clock, but the manual says that the operating temperature is between 41F--130F, and it should stay dry as the clock is not waterproof. Do you call this an outdoor clock?
Wonderful clock June 14, 2010 Nancy Renz (Oakland, CA USA) I didn't think the atomic setup would work at my house because of the nearby high voltage, high tension wires--an atomic clock my dad gave me never received a signal no matter where I put it. I put it out on the patio and the next morning the time was set and ready to go. It is easy to see from any point in the yard and it is attractive--big but not intrusive.
